Statements stay private

Financial PDFs are read in your browser and never uploaded.

Numbers as numbers

Amounts, negatives and percentages work in formulas at once.

Preview first

Tables out of PDFs, without retyping

PDF files don't store tables as tables, only as words placed on a page. The converter looks at where every word sits and groups them into rows and aligned columns, then writes the result as real spreadsheet cells.

Numbers like 1,234.50, (300), -12.5 or 45% are stored as numbers, so formulas work straight away. Check the tables in the preview before downloading, and choose one sheet per table or everything on one sheet.

If a page has no clear table, choose All text as rows to get every line of the page in the spreadsheet instead.

How to use it

  1. 1Upload your PDF.
  2. 2Check the tables found in the preview.
  3. 3Choose Tables only or All text as rows, then Excel (.xlsx) or CSV.
  4. 4Click Convert & Download.

Which settings to use

  • Tables only: just the rows and columns that were detected, the tidiest result.
  • All text as rows: every line of each page, split into cells where there are wide gaps.
  • One sheet per table, or everything on one sheet for easy filtering.
  • Excel (.xlsx) keeps number formats; CSV is plain text for importing elsewhere. Several CSV files come in a ZIP.

How numbers are handled

Thousands separators are removed, amounts in brackets become negative numbers and percentages become decimals shown with a percent format, so 12.8% is stored as 0.128. Text that only looks numeric, such as account numbers with leading zeros, can be checked in the preview before you download.

When it needs a hand

  • Works on PDFs with real text. Scanned statements need OCR PDF first.
  • Tables are found from text alignment. Merged cells and tables split across pages may need a quick tidy-up.
  • Up to 500 pages per file.

Your statements stay with you

A 30-page bank statement is exactly the kind of file you shouldn't have to upload to a stranger's server. Here it isn't: the tables are found and the spreadsheet is written in your browser tab.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my file uploaded to a server?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser tab using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, and closing the tab discards them.

What if no tables are found?

Choose All text as rows: each line of the PDF becomes a row, split into cells where there are wide gaps. This works well for statements and reports laid out in columns without table borders.

Are numbers kept as numbers?

Yes. Values such as 1,250.00, (300), -12.5 and 45% are written as numeric cells, so you can sort them and use them in formulas.

Can it convert a scanned bank statement?

Not directly, because scans contain pictures rather than text. Run the file through OCR PDF first, then convert the searchable PDF here.

Should I choose XLSX or CSV?

XLSX opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers with number formats kept. CSV is plain text that almost any accounting or database tool can import, but it has no formatting.

Does it work for Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or import the CSV through File › Import.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The table detection and the spreadsheet writing both happen in your browser, so statements and invoices never leave your device.

What happens to tables that run over two pages?

Each page's part is found as its own table. With Everything on one sheet, the parts end up one after another, so you can delete the repeated header row and carry on.
