Privacy Policy
At WeblixTools, privacy is part of how the tools are built: your files are processed in your own browser. This page explains what little information we do handle, why, and the choices you have.
Icon and favicon generation, image resizing, compression, colour picking and background removal, and every PDF tool (editing, signing, merging, splitting and the rest) run entirely inside your web browser. The images, logos and PDF documents you open in these tools are never uploaded to, stored on or processed by our servers. The only features that send information to us are the ones you choose to use and are listed below: the contact form, live chat, reviews and the AI icon generator.
1. Information We Collect
You don't need an account to use WeblixTools. We collect only the following:
- Anonymous visit statistics: when you open a page we record the page address, your approximate country (looked up from your IP address), the website that referred you, and your device, browser and operating system type. We don't store your IP address and set no cookies for this; visits are counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so they can't be linked to you or across days.
- Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message are saved in our private team inbox so we can reply. We also receive an email alert about new messages.
- Live chat: the messages you send, the page you were on and, if you ask for a person, the email address you give us. Messages are saved so our team can read and answer them. Answers from the AI assistant are written by our AI provider, which receives the text of the conversation to reply.
- Reviews: the name, rating and comment you submit, and the page you reviewed from. Reviews are checked by our team before they are published.
- AI icon generator: the description you type is sent to our AI provider to create the icon, and we keep it in our logs. Please don't include personal information in descriptions.
- Security and abuse prevention: your IP address is used briefly to limit how often forms can be sent and to stop automated abuse. Where it is kept for this, it is stored only as a one-way code and deleted automatically, usually within a day. Our server also keeps standard technical logs for a short time.
2. Cookies & Local Storage
WeblixTools itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. We use your browser's local storage (localStorage), which stays on your device, for:
- Preferences: your Light or Dark theme and your Studio styling choices.
- Live chat: a random code that lets you continue your conversation when you come back.
- Review requests: whether you have already left a review, so we don't keep asking.
Other parties set their own cookies:
- Advertising cookies: Google and its partners, as described in Section 3.
- Analytics cookies: if Google Analytics is enabled on this site, Google sets its own cookies to measure visits, as described in Google's policy. IP anonymisation is turned on.
3. Advertising & Google AdSense
WeblixTools is free to use and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Google is currently the only advertising vendor on WeblixTools. If we add other ad networks, we will list them here with links where you can opt out of their cookies.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before cookies are used for personalised ads, and can change their choice at any time with the privacy settings link shown on the page.
Advertising never has access to your images, PDFs or generated icons: those are processed only in your browser and are never uploaded.
4. Who We Share It With & How Long We Keep It
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run the site for us:
- Hosting: our servers and database, where messages, chats and reviews are stored.
- Email delivery: our email provider, to send replies and team alerts.
- AI providers: Google (Gemini), OpenAI or Anthropic, depending on the one we use, for AI icon descriptions and live-chat assistant answers.
- Google: for advertising and, if enabled, analytics.
We keep contact messages, chats and reviews for as long as they are useful for supporting you and running the site, and delete them sooner when you ask. Security records expire automatically.
5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Wherever you live, and especially in the EU/EEA, UK or California, you can ask us to:

6. Children's Information (COPPA)
WeblixTools does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
