Preview HTML safely in your browser

The HTML Viewer shows what a piece of HTML looks like without saving a file or opening a local server. Paste an email template, a snippet from a CMS or HTML you scraped from a site, and the preview updates as you type.

Use the width buttons to check the layout at desktop, tablet and phone sizes, the line count and size to check how big the code is, and Copy or Download to take it with you. Load from URL fetches a page's HTML so you can inspect it next to its preview.

For your safety the preview runs in a locked-down frame: scripts, forms and pop-ups are disabled and the content can't reach this site or your data. That means interactive parts that need JavaScript won't work in the preview, but the layout and styling will.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste your HTML into the editor, or enter an address and press Load.
  2. 2Watch the preview update as you edit the code.
  3. 3Switch between Split, Code and Preview views and desktop, tablet or phone widths.
  4. 4Copy the code or download it as an .html file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't buttons or menus work in the preview?

JavaScript is disabled in the preview so pasted code can't run anything harmful. HTML and CSS render normally; anything that needs JavaScript stays still.

Why are some images or styles missing?

Relative links such as /css/style.css only work when the page's address is known. Pages loaded with Load from URL keep their address; for pasted code, use full links starting with https://.

Is my code uploaded or saved?

No. Pasted HTML stays in your browser tab and is gone when you close it. Load from URL asks our server to fetch the page once and doesn't store it.

Can I use it to check email templates?

Yes, it's handy for a quick look at the layout. Email apps support less CSS than browsers, so always send a test email before a real campaign.
