From PDF pages to presentation slides
A slide deck emailed as a PDF is awkward when you only want to borrow a few slides. This tool rebuilds it as a .pptx file, with one slide per page in the same proportions as your first page.
In Editable text mode, each block of text becomes a text box at its original position and size, and pictures are placed as separate images you can move, resize or replace. Exact look puts a sharp picture of each page on its slide, ideal for presenting a document as it is.
The file opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and LibreOffice Impress.
How to use it
- 1Upload your PDF.
- 2Choose Editable text or Exact look.
- 3Pick all pages or a page range.
- 4Click Convert & Download to save the .pptx file.
Choosing a mode
- Editable text: change wording, reuse slides and restyle them. It suits text-heavy pages.
- Exact look: pixel-perfect pages for presenting a report, poster or design that mustn't change.
- If you can't decide, convert two or three pages each way and look at them side by side.
What to expect in Editable mode
Text boxes keep their position and font size, and pictures are copied at their original resolution. Text is set in black with a common font, because text colours and embedded fonts aren't read from the PDF. Background colours, gradients and shapes drawn as vector graphics are not copied, so slides may look plainer than the original until you add a theme.
Sizes and limits
- Up to 300 slides per conversion and 500 pages per file.
- Slide size follows the first page you convert, so A4 documents become A4 slides and 16:9 decks stay 16:9.
- Scanned pages have no text; they come through as pictures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser tab using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, and closing the tab discards them.
Is the text editable in PowerPoint?
Yes, in Editable text mode. Each block of text becomes a text box at its original position. Fonts are replaced with a common font of the same size, so line lengths can differ slightly.
What slide size is used?
Each slide uses the size and shape of the first page you convert, so A4 documents become A4 slides and 16:9 decks stay 16:9.
Why are my backgrounds missing?
Backgrounds drawn as shapes or gradients aren't copied in Editable mode, only text and pictures. Choose Exact look to keep the complete design, or apply a PowerPoint theme afterwards.
Can I open the result in Google Slides?
Yes. Upload the .pptx to Google Drive and open it with Google Slides, or use File › Import slides in an existing presentation.
How many pages can I convert?
Up to 300 slides in one conversion. For longer documents, convert a page range at a time.
Are the images in the slides full quality?
Pictures are copied from the PDF at their stored resolution (capped at 4000 pixels on the longest side), so photos look the same as in the original.
Can I convert only a few pages into slides?
Choose the pages option and type the ones you want, such as 3-7. Only those pages become slides.
