Two ways to make the PDF
Download PDF builds the file directly in your browser: the page is laid out at the width you choose and cut into pages, with real selectable text and clickable links. It works well for documents, invoices, emails, articles and simple pages.
Print / Save as PDF opens your browser's print dialog with the paper size and margins already set. Choose "Save as PDF" as the printer for the most faithful result, with every font, background and image exactly as the browser shows them.
Scripts in the HTML never run: the preview is sandboxed, so pasted code can't do anything on your computer. Pasted code and uploaded files stay in your browser. A page loaded by its address is fetched through our server, because browsers don't allow one site to read another directly, and it isn't stored.
How to use it
- 1Paste HTML, upload an .html file, or enter a web address and load it.
- 2Check the preview and choose paper, orientation, margins and layout width.
- 3Click Download PDF, or Print / Save as PDF for your browser's own PDF engine.
When to use HTML to PDF
- Saving an HTML invoice, receipt or email template as a PDF to send or archive.
- Keeping an offline copy of an article or documentation page.
- Checking how a page you're building looks on printed paper.
- Turning HTML exported from another tool into a shareable document.
- Archiving a web-based report or confirmation page before it changes or disappears.
Page settings explained
Paper can be A4, Letter or Legal, in portrait or landscape, with no, small or normal margins. Layout width decides how wide the page is drawn before it is fitted onto the paper: Page uses the paper width, while 1024px or 1280px lays out a website the way a laptop shows it and then scales it down.
Long content continues onto as many pages as needed. Links in the direct download stay clickable in the PDF.
Limits and privacy
- Pasted or uploaded HTML can be up to 5 MB and never leaves your device.
- Pages loaded by address are fetched by our server (up to 1 MB of HTML) and passed straight back to you; they aren't stored.
- Scripts are switched off, so content a site builds with JavaScript may be missing.
- In the direct download, CSS background images, decorative ::before/::after content and images from sites that block sharing can be missing; Print / Save as PDF shows them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my HTML uploaded?
Pasted code and uploaded .html files stay in your browser. When you load a page by its address, our server fetches that public page for you and passes it straight back; nothing is stored.
Why does the page look different from the live site?
Scripts are switched off for safety, so content that a site builds with JavaScript (some menus, lazy-loaded images, single-page apps) may be missing. Static pages, articles, invoices and emails convert well.
What's the difference between Download PDF and Print?
Download PDF creates the file directly in your browser with selectable text and working links. Print uses your browser's built-in PDF engine, which reproduces every font, background and image exactly, but you choose Save as PDF in the print dialog yourself.
Can it convert pages that need a login?
No. Our server can only fetch public pages. For a page behind a login, open it in your browser, save it as an .html file or copy its source, then upload or paste it here.
Is text in Urdu, Arabic or Chinese supported?
Yes. In the direct download, text in scripts the built-in PDF fonts don't cover is drawn as sharp images so it displays correctly. For fully selectable text in those languages, use Print / Save as PDF.
Is it free?
Yes, and there's no sign-up. Loading pages by address has a per-minute limit so nobody can use our server to hammer other sites; pasting and uploading HTML only have the 5 MB size limit.
